What is Cal Pal?
Cal Pal turns the food already in your fridge into real meals that fit your calorie and macro goals. You point your camera at the fridge, Cal Pal identifies the ingredients it can see, and in seconds it returns real dishes from nutritionists and food creators, each shown with its calories and macros. The app also includes a built-in calorie and macro tracker with activity rings, so logging a meal updates your day automatically. Calorie and macro figures are estimates to help you choose a meal that fits your day, not clinical measurements.
How Cal Pal works
- Scan. Point your camera at your fridge, counter, or a grocery receipt. Cal Pal reads the ingredients it can see and you tweak anything it missed.
- Get recipes. In seconds, Cal Pal ranks real meals by what you already have, each one sized to your calorie and macro targets.
- Plan and log. Add a meal to your day or your week. Logging one updates your calorie and macro tracker for you, with no weighing every ingredient.
How Cal Pal is different
Most apps solve only half of the problem. Recipe apps that suggest meals from your ingredients, like SuperCook, ignore your calories and macros. Calorie trackers, like MyFitnessPal, log what you have already eaten but never tell you what to cook. Cal Pal does both: it scans your fridge with the camera, so there is no typing, and every meal it returns is already sized to your calorie and macro goals. The meals are real, curated dishes, not AI-generated recipe text.
Who Cal Pal is for
Cal Pal is built for people who track their calories and macros and still have to answer the daily question of what to cook. If you want less friction than typing every ingredient, and meals that fit your goals without a spreadsheet, Cal Pal is made for you.
